Transformation and Healing Begin Within

Listen to your life. See it for the fathomless mystery it is. In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness; touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it, because in the last analysis all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.

My name is Jon Hsieh (pronounced She) and I have more than 33 years of clinical experience working with adults, adolescents and children struggling with a variety of issues, relationship conflicts, changes, and transitions throughout the life cycle. I have extensive experience doing group work with adults and adolescents, combining prevention and psychoeducational learning with creative and experiential approaches. I am committed to promoting healing through a holistic lens. Through mindfulness and a non-judgmental curiosity, you are invited to explore the connections and designs of the mind, heart and body and how they work together for healing. While we can all struggle with difficult thoughts, intense emotions, uncomfortable body sensations and the troubling environments we find ourselves living in, we can truly approach our own experiences with hope that we can facilitate change and transformation in both our individual and relational lives.

I believe we are all invited to connect to our whole authentic selves – creating and living the lives that allow us to fully engage in our relationships and the work we find to do. I know that we all can struggle with issues that can get in the way of our connections with others and ourselves. If I had to describe my approach in a word it would be: integrating. The work that is in front of us – that is ahead of us – is the work that can allow us to explore and bring together all the different parts of ourselves that can, for many different reasons, get disconnected, hidden, and even forgotten. There are many tools and models that are available to assist in the work of healing and transformation. I endeavor to meet my clients “where they are at” knowing that there is no “one size fits all” approach. The work comes with many gifts along the way – including a sense of wonder – at the unfolding of your true and whole self.
